Back-for-You is a Chinese drama set during the early days of the Republic of China. It mixes suspense, mystery, and some supernatural fun.
The story kicks off with A Lai, a police officer on the run from a gang. Just when it seems like he won’t make it, a mysterious woman named Lu Na shows up and saves him. But Lu Na is badly hurt and falls into a coma.
Curious about her, A Lai starts to dig into who she is but can’t find any records of her. All she has are twelve comic books that she clings to. A Lai is shocked to find out that these comics actually match up with some of his past cases. They even help him solve them! The more he reads, the more he hopes Lu Na wakes up, thinking she might have answers he needs.
Thanks to these comics, A Lai does great work and gets promoted. But with his success comes new enemies. The mystery of Lu Na and her link to A Lai’s past keeps heating up.
