Johnny Manziel has a lot of accomplishments to his name, including being a former Heisman Trophy winner and a first-round NFL Draft pick. Now, he can also add a win in an MMA fight to his resume.

Manziel made his mixed martial arts debut on Saturday night at the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas at 33 years old, more than a decade after his last NFL appearance, as he battled against 38-year-old social media influencer Bob Menery – and won quite dominantly, landing multiple strikes before the official waved off the match just over two minutes into the action.

The match was a part of a card promoted by streamer Adin Ross’ Brand Risk Promotions, which is known for pairing celebrities and content creators in boxing matches. After winning the fight, Manziel said he likely would not step into the ring for another fighting the future, protecting his now-undefeated MMA record and making this fight a rare one-off side quest in Manziel’s athletic career.

Manziel was selected in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns with the 22nd overall pick, but played only two seasons in the league before being cut by the organization in 2016. He threw 1,675 yards and seven touchdowns in his NFL career before playing professionally in multiple other leagues.
