Argentina and Austria are meeting in their second Group J match of the FIFA World Cup in Dallas, on June 22, 2026.
Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has made one change āto his starting lineup from the side that ā won 3-0 against Algeria in their World Cup opener for the āmeeting with Austria in Dallas with Nahuel Molina āreplacing Gonzalo Montiel.
FIFA World Cup 2026: Messi has scoring record in his sights
Ralf āRangnick ā has made three changes ā to the Austria team that won 3-1 against Jordan, with Kevin Danso, Paul Wanner āand Michael Gregoritsch coming in for Philipp Lienhart, Phillipp Mwene and Sasa Kalajdzic.
Lionel āMessi plays for Argentina for the 201st time, extending his record ā as his nationās most-capped player. Marcel Sabitzer makes āhis 100th appearance for Austria and starts in midfield alongside Romano Schmid.
