Zolani “Last Born” Tete was gunned down by men wearing balaclavas outside his home in South Africa. 

The 38-year-old won the world bantamweight crown in 2017 after beating Filipino boxer Arthur Villaneuva.

South Africa continues to have the world’s highest murder rates despite recent declines in homicides.
