‘In low grip conditions when the track is wet and there is poor visibility boost mode has been reintroduced but is restricted to preventing power reduction without increasing output, while the overtake function will be disabled. These changes have been made for safety reasons.’
FIA Formula E world championship heads to Brands Hatch in 2027 (Motorsport UK)
‘Confirmation of Brands Hatch as the new home for Formula E in the UK means that Britain will host rounds of every major FIA World Championship next year. Earlier this month the World Endurance Championship joined Formula 1 and the recently announced World Rally Championship round, cementing the nationâs status as the home of motorsport. The event will also be the first FIA World Championship event at the storied Kent circuit since the World Touring Car Championship in 2010.’
A message from HRC President, Koji Watanabe (Honda)
‘The start of the 2026 season has been very challenging for us. The current position is not where we want to be. However, in difficult times, we rely on the challenging spirit that is part of Honda and HRC’s DNA. In 2015, we also faced a tough start, but we became stronger by never giving up.’
Honda offers apology after Armstrong misses out on Road America victory (Racer)
‘In the race we were very competitive and, up to the very end of the race, leading and in a great position. But then we failed with just three laps to go whilst leading. The racer in me would always rather fail, which happens unfortunately, whilst leading, but I am extremely sorry to Marcus and the valiant MSR team, just heartbreaking and we are extremely sorry for distress caused to Marcus and the team.’
