IndyCar’s new chassis for the 2028 season hit the track for the first time last weekend. The series will also introduce a new power unit specification for the IR-28, but the car which ran at Indianapolis used a “mule test engine”.
The series promoters published a video showing the car in greater detail and explaining some of the changes they have made.
