Jordan De Goey has spoken glowingly about becoming a father to his baby daughter Tatum but he’s also shown the rollercoaster of that experience.
But after bringing her into the rooms for the team song and then on air for a chat with Kayo Sports, Tatum became a bit overawed and De Goey had to ask for a quick time-out.
“She’s lost it here. I might have to palm her off and come back. Can I have a sec?” De Goey said leaving the interview.
Then host Mark Howard grabbed one of De Goey’s former schoolmates who was wearing a custom-made t-shirt of De Goey in a gold cap.
“They say your 200th game is all about you but I think my mates are having a better time than I am,” De Goey said.
His friend from high school, named Jack, dropped a naughty word or two but also made it clear De Goey was much loved by those he came up with.
