In short:

The Coalition has promised to reverse Labor’s property tax changes and introduce a permanent system to index income tax brackets to inflation.

Opposition Leader Angus Taylor announced the plans in his budget in reply speech, where he also pledged to slash migration and prevent non-citizens from accessing the NDIS or other government payments.

What’s next?

Labor has criticised the plan as “uncosted nonsense” while migrant advocates described it was “pure political theatre”.
