The team says its special look “features a colour-shifting, iridescent finish created using a specialist wrap material.” The AMR26s will “visibly change colour” as they lap the circuit this weekend.
Drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll will have special race suits to match the new look. Their number one mechanics will also wear special overalls and helmets.
McLaren have also revealed a different livery this weekend, which will mark their 1,000th grand prix start.
Aston Martin’s new livery for this weekend’s race is their first change of livery this year. Their last one-off design appeared at the United States Grand Prix in the second half of 2025.
