By Anthony Fauci’s testimony before the US Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has now begun, with US senator Rand Paul offering opening remarks admonishing Fauci for his role in leading the Covid-19 response.
As a reminder, Paul released diary entries from Fauci that Paul says show discrepancies between his public stances and private beliefs. Those will factor heavily into the hearing today.
“The American people deserve answers,” Paul said. “Frankly, the American people deserve an apology.”
