‘Red Bull has rebuffed an Abu Dhabi-backed bid to buy its Racing Bulls Formula 1 team for up to $3 billion, led by a former adviser to Bernie Ecclestone. Dean Attew, a US-based investor and former investigator for Ecclestone, and Andrew Herriot, a financier, approached Red Bull about buying the team, with financing from a number of Abu Dhabi-based funds, according to City sources.’
Testing imminent for 2028 IndyCar (Racer)
‘No specific date has been shared, but the last day(s) of July and the first day(s) of August have been mentioned as the most likely window for the shakedown to take place. If the test faces any delays, it would likely be moved until after the season concludes; five straight weekends of racing is scheduled from Portland through Laguna Seca on September 6th, leaving no time for extracurricular tests during this span.’
