By Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe says there’s more to come after signing a commitment to further trade with the Czech Republic.
He says the memorandum of understanding with the country will benefit sales, including nuclear fuel.
And he adds that on a broader scale, there’s tremendous potential for the province to increase trade with all of Europe.

Moe was speaking from Paris at a defence and security conference that he says underlines the potential of rising military spending.
Moe says Saskatchewan has expertise in manufacturing and mining, which can easily be adapted to the field of defence.
The premier says he is heading next to Poland to push nuclear energy as well as mining and agricultural supplies.

He says there is room to make much better use of the free trade deal with Europe that came into force in 2017.
“There are further opportunities for us to deepen our connections in all things mining and all things agriculture as we look to really enhance our activity within a free-trade agreement we have with the European Union,” Moe said Monday.
