Southern Lebanon residents doubt US-Iran agreement will bring lasting calm

Residents of southern Lebanon expressed scepticism that hostilities would end after the US and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding to end the war. Israeli officials said they are in talks with the US over continuing Israel’s deployment in southern Lebanon.
