Pocono high school fans, it was a great year for sports with plenty of talented athletes. Young men and women from every sport put on dazzling performances en route to being one of the best on the mountain. Now, it is your turn to pick the best male and female athlete, who will be named the Pocono Record Athletes of the Year.
Voting will end 5 p.m. Friday, July 3.

KJ Coles, Pocono Mountain West: Pocono Record Player of the Year, EPC Player of the Year, All-State Second Team Selection (boys basketball)
Evan Gillespie, Pleasant Valley: Pocono Record Co-Wrestler of the Year
Alexander Stirr, Pocono Mountain East: Pocono Record Baseball Hitter of the Year
Adam Sopanski, Pleasant Valley: All-EPC First Team (boys soccer)
Joshua Ivers-Green, Stroudsburg: District 11 high jump champion
Alfred Zheng, Stroudsburg: State qualifier, broke school records in the 100-meter freestyle and 200-meter IM (swimming)
